Unlike acute illnesses, most NCDs are asymptomatic and their diagnosis requires regular medical check-up or screening, and their treatment involves lifelong medications and accompaniment. That’s where our work begins.

Ten years ago, giving birth in Bigogwe, a rural area in Rwanda’s western province, Nyabihu District was filled with uncertainty. Now, Bigogwe Health Center welcomes an average of 215 deliveries each month. The staff has grown and so has the facility’s the reputation for quality care.

On May 30, 2023, Health Builders officially opened three new health posts in Rulindo District to make health care more accessible to rural community members.
