We had a wonderful and informative evening learning about Rwanda's past, present, and hopes for the future.
Susan Ormiston from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was incredible in guiding the conversation with our three keynote speakers, Carl Wilkens, Michel Musilikare, and Immaculate Kyarisiima. Sometimes, the conversation was difficult, as our panelists shared their unique experiences during the Genocide of 1994. But then, they reminded us of the amazing resiliency of the Rwandan people, sharing stories of reconciliation, rebuilding, rebirth, and finally, their own dreams for the future.
If you weren't able to join us on March 4, please be sure to watch the recording and share with others who are interested in Rwanda and the amazing work taking place there by organizations like Health Builders.
